Higher levels of melanin lead to vitamin d deficiency
VERIFIED- I thought that this was untrue, but google told me otherwise. Point Richard.

DEBUNKED- the picture is right there on the fridge! What particularly concerns me in this case is the made up dialogue.
Latin Americans are less susceptible to HIV.

DEBUNKED- Richard himself confirmed that this is false. I will only delete half a point because of his admirable honesty.

Ok as I have said in past, if you prove me wrong I'll take it. But this article still pisses me off in that I NEVER ACTUALLY SAId LATIN AMERICANS ARE LESS SUSCEPTIBLE TO HIV. You took what I said greatly out of context. I said that in the Mexican population, specifically amongst the indigenous population, there is a very small and rare amount of people who have a mutation causing them to be highly resistant to aids. Meaning that they can act as carriers for the HIV virus but never develop full blown aids (this last sentence wasn't explained in the past but I thought I'd throw it in for good measure). The pygmy people of Africa have been shown to have a similar resistance as well. How might I know this you ask... well maybe because when I was in high school I actually did AIDS research with a PI (MD researcher) who was trying to isolate the gene(s) in said people which allowed them to have said resistance.

I never said women get worse syphilis and gonorrhea... I said that men have more of a natural propensity for recovering from syphilis and gonorhea (case in point: there's no undouchey way to say this... ladies I apologize in advance). Now this could be simply due to the fact that men show far more external symptoms than women due to the fact that their sexual anatomy is on the outside thus causing them to seek treatment faster but... Very basic generalized information in that article but it states what I stated in the past.
I will not accept this article as proof of your specious claims. The article says nothing about women getting worse cases of those STDs, which you defs did say. I SHAN'T ACCEPT IT. IT IS NOT PROOF OF ANYTHING.
